How to get There?
To get to the municipality of La Aldea de San Nicolás you can choose between three roads: take the Sourth Road and follow the south eastern coast; take the Centre Road up to Artenara and continue down by the roads of the presas; or take the Northern Roard also following the north western coast. The most common road is the Northern one even though is not the shortest and its final section results a little sinuous. The centre Road is the worst for driving in, but has the best views of the landscapes for the visitant. However, the most comfortable road of the three ones is the one that takes the Southern Road. Even though the Aldea of San Nicolás is situated at 71 kilometers from the Capital of the island, the journey by the Northern Road is made in approximately one hour and a half due to the complicated jorney.
If the use of public transport is chosen, the visitant should go the Main Bus Station in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and take the bus number 38 that leaves four times daily in direction to San Nicolás de Tolentino by the Southern Road. It also exist the possibility of getting to the municipality thanks to the Bus number 105 that leaves every twenty minutes and goes through the municipality of Galdar, from which you can choose the Bus number 101 to get to San Nicolás de Tolentino.
